BREAKING UPDATE: Gavin Newsom endorses Kamala Harris for president

UPDATE: California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris after Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race on Sunday. Newsom had canceled appearances scheduled for Monday shortly after President Biden announced he was exiting the 2024 presidential race, leading to some speculation about him throwing his hat in the ring.
