Missouri AG wins case forcing Biden-Harris admin to finish building Trump’s border wall

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has successfully obtained a court order compelling the Biden administration to use congressionally appropriated funds to complete the southern border wall. Bailey announced in a statement that the administration has decided not to appeal the ruling, which mandates the continuation of the border wall construction initially started under President Trump.

“I obtained a court order forcing border czar Kamala Harris and Joe Biden to finish President Trump’s border wall. They decided NOT to appeal, making our win FINAL,” Bailey wrote in a post on X. “The rest of President Trump’s border wall is going up because of this lawsuit.”

The legal battle dates back to fiscal year 2020 when Congress allocated $1.4 billion specifically for the construction of barriers along the southern border. The legislation stipulated that the funds “shall only be available for construction of barrier systems along the southwest border.” Despite this, the Biden administration opted not to use the funds, citing policy differences between their administration and the previous one.
