Musk says Epstein files have been buried because Trump is in them

Elon Musk on Thursday said the files related to the late billionaire and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have not been made public due to President Trump's presence in the files.

Musk made the remarks amid an ongoing public row between the two over the "big, beautiful bill." While on the campaign, Trump repeatedly promised to release the Epstein files on day one. Early in his administration, Attorney General Pam Bondi promised their release, but ultimately provided influencers with already public information in a widely maligned photo op.

"Time to drop the really big bomb: [Donald Trump] is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!" Musk posted.
