It’s looking like many of Nikki Haley’s supporters in the “Never Trump” variety may now have to reconsider.

While not explicitly backing Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, who previously called Trump “not qualified” to be President, did offer a de-facto enforcement in announcing that she’ll be voting for Trump come November.

In her first public remarks since dropping out of the 2024 race, where she garnered roughly 20% of the vote in primary contests, she said: “I will be voting for Trump. Having said that, I stand by what I said in my suspension speech. Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me and not assume that they’re just going to be with him. And I genuinely hope he does that.”

After Haley’s announcement, her son also put out a tweet on why he wouldn’t be voting for Biden, and criticized one person upset with her announcement for only backing his mother to oppose Trump. He did however, clarify that he didn’t say he was voting for Trump, just that he wasn’t voting for Biden.
