The Commission on Presidential Debates earlier on Thursday announced that the second presidential debate would be held virtually, in light of the president recently contracting COVID-19.

Trump then rejected the virtual format out of hand during a discussion with Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo.

RAF fighter jets have intercepted Russian aircraft flying close to NATO airspace twice in a week. Two RAF Typhoons were scrambled from Malbork Air Base in Poland on Tuesday (April 15) to intercept a Russian Ilyushin Il-20M “Coot-A” intelligence aircraft over the Baltic Sea.
