‘No Votes for Bombala’s Genocide’: 14 arrested as agitators crash NYC rally for Kamala, clash with cops

Anti-Israel activists crashed a Democratic rally supporting Vice President Kamala Harris in New York City on Wednesday where Mayor Eric Adams was speaking and went on to trash the afterparty venues, causing thousands of dollars in damage to the nearby restaurant.

Agitators wearing keffiyehs set off smoke bombs and some were taken into custody by NYPD officers. At least 14 were arrested. An NYPD vehicle was graffitied with the words "Free Gaza" while a protester plastered a sign on a restaurant window that read "No Votes for Bombala's Genocide."

While Democratic Mayor Eric Adams was speaking at the event in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of Harlem, activists were removed from the venue, per the New York Post. Freedom TV was on the scene to capture footage of the mayhem.

Neither Harris nor her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz were at the event, disappointing some the attendees. The duo had been featured prominently on the event flyer. Kamala Harris was instead in Boston.
