A new survey conducted by the American Association of Retired Persons has revealed that Trump holds massive leads in the state over Biden, both among likely Arizona voters overall and in voters above the age of 50.
The AARP poll found that 45 percent of likely voters over the age of 18 said they would vote for Trump in a five-way race that included third-party candidates, while 37 percent said they would vote for Biden. Among likely voters over the age of 50, 49 percent said they would vote for Trump while 39 percent said they would vote for Biden.
Trump held his lead in the head-to-head matchup against Biden, with 50 percent of adult likely voters saying they would vote for Trump over Biden’s 44 percent support. Additionally, 52 percent of voters over the age of 50 said they would vote for Trump compared to 43 percent who said they would vote for Biden.
Overall, 58 percent of adult voters over age 50 in the state disapproved of Biden’s job performance, with just 41 percent approving. The majority of voters over 50 approved of Trump’s job performance as president, with 55 percent approving and 44 percent disapproving.
