His campaign announced news of the Sanford rally on Friday.
Word traveled early on the morning of Oct. 2 that the president had tested positive for COVID-19. It is unclear whether the president has received a negative test result since his initial diagnosis.
"All attendees will be given a temperature check, masks which they are encouraged to wear, and access to hand sanitizer," according to a press release about the event.
