Would former VP Mike Pence ever run for office again? Here's what he just said

Former Vice President Mike Pence, who previously also served as Indiana governor, doesn't foresee running for president again.

“I don’t see that in my future,” Pence said on May 18 when NBC News Meet the Press host Kristen Welker asked if he'd make another attempt. “I just dreamed of being a congressman from my hometown, and I got to live that dream."

To serve as governor and then vice president in addition, he told Welker, was "beyond anything I imagined."

"I want to be a voice for conservative values," Pence continued. "I don’t see it, but we’ll keep standing for everything we’ve always stood for, and we’ll let the future take care of itself.”
