Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo vetoes measure criminalizing fake electors

Nevada Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo vetoed a bill Thursday that would have made the western swing state the first in the country to make it a crime to sign certificates falsely stating that a losing candidate has won a certain state. The bill seeking to crack down on so-called fake electors would have established penalties of between four and 10 years in prison. Democratic state Attorney General Aaron Ford endorsed the legislation, while some public defenders opposed it, calling it too harsh.

Trump Attacks His Former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany

Former President Donald Trump took to social media Tuesday to attack his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, accusing her of misrepresenting poll numbers during an appearance on Fox News. “Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up. While 25 is great, it’s not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll,” Trump wrote, before concluding, “The RINOS & Globalists can have her.

Dick Morris to Newsmax: DeSantis Won't Top Trump in Polls

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, after officially entering the race for the GOP presidential nomination last week, doesn't have much of a shot of improving his poll numbers against former President Donald Trump, especially considering the number of people who have already entered the race and the others who are likely to jump in, political strategist Dick Morris said on Newsmax Sunday.

DeSantis Breaks Silence on Trump Attacks

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said former President Donald Trump’s constant criticism of him is telling. It could suggest Trump “knows” DeSantis could win the GOP nomination in 2024, the governor said in an interview with “Good Morning New Hampshire” radio host Jack Heath on May 25.

Hillary Clinton Claims Trump ‘Rigged’ 2020 Election, Predicts ‘End of Democracy’ If He Wins in 2024

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed Donald Trump engaged in a “rigged game” to try and steal the 2020 election and predicted a victory for him in 2024 would be the “end of democracy.” Clinton, who heretofore has suggested casting any doubt on election results is in itself the end of democracy as we know it, made the comments in a wide-ranging interview during the Financial Times Weekend Festival in Washington, DC over the weekend.

Biden’s Border Chaos Is Neither an Accident, Nor Incompetence. It’s Intentional.

President Joe Biden became president largely by promising to Make America Normal Again. The shambolic U.S.-Mexico “border” confirms how Biden shattered that promise. There is nothing normal about the coast-to-coast disaster over which he governs, thanks largely to his deeply abnormal definition of border security.

White House Official: Biden’s Migration Is an Economic Strategy

A senior official in the White House says President Joe Biden’s immigration policy is intended to fill new jobs in government spending programs, high-tech firms, and a growing economy. “We are creating new jobs this year as we’re breaking ground on key infrastructure projects under the President’s bipartisan infrastructure law, the CHIPS and Science Act, [and] new green jobs as we implement the Inflation Reduction Act,” said Katie Tobin, the senior director for transborder security on the National Security Council.

Is Joe Biden Ready To Sacrifice Hunter For The White House?

President Joe Biden will face the choice of acknowledging his son’s nefarious activities — thereby sacrificing him — or continuing to misdirect as his 2024 presidential campaign heats up, political strategists believe. Unlike his 2020 campaign, Joe Biden is facing public scrutiny for his son’s alleged business dealings, pornographic tapes found on his abandoned laptop and his treatment of his out-of-wedlock daughter.

Trump vs. DeSantis-Not Really an Option with TDS Surging

Several months ago, I wrote a column, “Why do you still hate Donald Trump?” and asked readers to give me a good reason why they felt that way. Over 99% of the responses to my query came from those who agreed wholeheartedly with the column. Only one response criticized Donald Trump, yet the writer did state that if Trump ran in 2024, he would vote for him again. Not one genuine, Never-Trumper or Biden supporter contacted me, and I found that rather puzzling.
